This little battery keychain recharges your dead Apple Watch on the go
It looks like there’s an Apple Watch MagSafe charger built into the power bank keychain, but the case isn’t big enough to house the long Apple Watch cable, so they must be using their own MagSafe.
The bottom of the banner says the product is an official licensed product from Apple. It’s suspect, though — Apple has never licensed its MagSafe technologyout to third-party companies, so it’s unclear why the company would start now.
I know of other portable wireless Apple Watch charging products like the BLOC Wireless Dock by Boostcase, but those require you to connect your own MagSafe charging dock.
Naturally, the company wouldn’t provide specs for things like battery capacity, availability and pricing. I’m interested in learning more about this little Apple Watch battery key fob, if the company actually wants to talk to me, though.

IFA is filled with lots of big product appearances, but also a lot of trinkets and tchotchkes from small vendors. There’s a lot of smartphone accessory junk.
If not for a huge block of teenagers (the IFA trade show is open to the public) blocking the pathway between halls, I would have walked right by Adition’s “Apple Watch Charging Power Bank.”
I’ve never heard of Adition and a quick Google search brings up nothing on the company.
Oddly enough, the company’s rep on hand refused to elaborate on the product. I told them I’m a technology journalist, but she was only interested in chatting with merchandisers. True story: the rep yanked the power bank out of my hand while I was trying to snap some shots of it.
